MISSION
STATEMENT
The Crestline Police Department is a well-trained,
professional organization dedicated to the concepts of personal excellence,
teamwork, and focused performance.
We believe in the dignity of all people, and we desire
to serve the public and protect individual rights, freedoms, and liberties. We aspire to contribute to the quality of
life for all citizens of Crestline by providing understanding and
compassionate law enforcement services.
We take great pride in our professional accomplishments
and abilities, and we profess an open partnership with the citizens of Crestline
and other Law Enforcement agencies for shared protection responsibilities.
This mission will be undertaken by all who serve on the
Police Department in order to build community relations within the City of Crestline.
OBJECTIVES:
A. To promote the security and safety
of the citizens of Crestline by the greater visibility of officers patrolling
on foot and use of patrol car on streets and alleys.
B. To deter the criminal element and
opportunity to commit crime by greater visibility through increased
personal contacts with the public.
C. Increase community-police relations
through mutual understanding of the department’s objectives by
increased personal contacts and services performed by the department’s
officers.
