In
order to position the City of Crestline to be able to take
advantage of economic benefits to be provided by the relocation
of US 30, the City purchased approximately 140 acres of property
from Conrail in 1995. Shortly after purchasing the property,
the City annexed this property along with approximately 200
adjoining acres belonging to Conrail into the City of Crestline.
This resulted in the addition into the City of almost 350
acres that have immediate rail access as well as access
to the 4-lane US 30.
We work closely with the Ohio Department of Development
and the Crawford County Economic Development Office to encourage
economic development and respond to information requests for
businesses interested in Crestline:
